A lift truck to be a successful model must be built strong to last the working conditions for many hours of use. It should be able to transport loads quickly and effectively too. The machinery must be both comfortable and ergonomically correct for the operator too.
The Yale powertrain is rugged and reliable. It has to be strong enough to constantly provide incredible strength through its computer-managed transmission and engine. It provides state-of-the-art clutch packs along with strong gears and extremely tough shafts. The steer axle, drive, transmission and engine are all isolated to reduce noise and vibration inside the compartment of the operator.
Mazda and GM LP & Gas Engines:
The Mazda LP and GM Gas Engines are made from cast-iron blocks for long life. These machinery provide an electronically-controlled closed loop fuel system which needs minimal repair or adjustment. These engines also have hardened exhaust valve seats which lessen wear.
Yanmar and Cummins Diesel Engines:
Inside the Cummins and Yanmar diesel engines, a high compression ratio provides excellent torque. Amazing fuel consumption is provided by effective fuel systems.
Regular Electronic Powershift Transmission:
The electronic powershift transmission is standard on nearly all machinery. It features gears which are 15% stronger and shafts which give resistance when driving on rough environment. The strong clutch packs offer 3 times the life of preceding packs. Lastly, there is electronic inching available which automatically adjusts in order to lessen maintenance requirements by compensating for brake wear.
Techtronix Transmission:
This transmission system utilizes a computer-controlled power reversal that extends tire life, minimizes shock loading and increases durability. Moreover, the auto deceleration feature reduces break pedal usage and break wear.
Drive Axle:
The Drive Axle is made for extra durability with its full floating, brake drum mounting axle shaft and the pinion gears and strong ring. This specific component also has optional oil cooled wet disc brakes which are completely sealed against contamination and basically maintenance free.
Steer Axle:
The Steer Axle features a "sandwich" design to protect the steer cylinder from debris and damage. It has fixed-length tie rods to add extra durability and stability. The tapered roller bearings help to resist side-to-side and front to back forces. As well, cast ductile iron axle reduces wear and increases toughness.
As part of Yale's regular packages, they have included a lot of safety features and ergonomic features. These types of equipment would handle tough settings, while keeping the operator both comfortable and safe for the length of their shift.
