Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business in the Northern Italy's largest industrial place. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, various types of presses, forklifts, farming machinery and prefabrication molds.
The company started crane production during the year 1963. Over time, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru currently makes and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These equipments are designed and engineered for a variety of uses and there are models available to cover all construction requirements.
Some units provide extremely flexible lifting options for companies which are constructing private houses and small buildings. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and offer 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Topless tower cranes are amongst their other units. These cranes have upto 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are both user friendly and really adaptable. They are great for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes offer a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are regular tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are great for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These cranes are specially designed to work in tight sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are located in close proximity to each other.
