Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You can normally find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also known as pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are used in order to transport materials and things around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight contains a pump that could raise the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by a single individual.
To prevent loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks should always be operated carefully. Machine must be checked prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Make certain that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet should be carefully stacked to guarantee that nothing will fall off during transportation.
To release air in the pump and lower the forks, squeeze the lever situated on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be in the middle to guarantee even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has fully cleared the ground. Do not lift the pallet very high or the forklift could unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and dragging it behind you. It is not safe to push the pallet ahead of you because the thrust can cause it to lose control. Take turns slowly and don't attempt to stop abruptly. Stop slowly, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
