Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you accomplish all your needs, whilst being safe and efficient at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible, numerous attachments have been designed and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being made and engineered all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
